- The lecture contents should be preserved because it gives a clear view into the phase transformation.»

- The ThermoCalc assignment is really time consuming without the correct database.»
- It would be good to have access to the correct databases in the ThermoCalc assignment in order to better learn the program.»
- I think graphs or figures that are not in the textbook can be used to illustrate some abstract principles such as diffusional growing etc, as we can read the graphs or figures in the textbook and other images can provide us a different viewpoint of the concept. »

- If some fore-courses describing crystal structures and dislocation movements and reactions are given, we probably could get better understanding of some specific chapters.»
- Some short questions can be given frequently to let the students know their progress. »

17. Did you find the project done in ThermoCalc contributing to your learning

Please add suggestions on how to improve the project

- Yes, it did contribute to our learning. But I guess it came a little bit earlier than it should. Moreover, the database seemed problematic.»
- By accessing the correct databases! However it was nice that we actually did an assignment for a company»
- Unfortunately we cannot use the database required for the project, otherwise I think we can learn more for the ThermoCalc project. More background can be given about ThermoCalc, better with some examples that covered in the class. »
- No. It was poorly administrated since the proper database wasn"t installed. »
