- This is a master"s level course in electronics engineering. and all the people taking this course should know what a transistor is at least ! I can understand that this is just an introduction course that is only 7 weeks long but if people in an electronics master program do not know what a transistor, inverter, etc is there must be something wrong. » (No, the goals are set too low)

- The labs were very easy and introductory, at least there should some specifications on speed, layout size...» (Small extent)
- I think the labs were good for being an introduction to cadence, I don"t think I took the time to refelect and acctually learn the lessons in the last pages of each lab.» (Some extent)

- I believe that the text book by Raebaey was a more extensive coverage of the topic compared to Weste and Harris.» (Large extent)

- Before I have used WebCT and Sakai. Chalmers Student Portal was fine. The documentations supplied and the use of online resources was good. However I can not understand Swedish yet, and there were some lectures in which Swedish was most used than English.» (Very badly)

- i must appriciate professor"s efforts to clear any problems which i faced during lecs.» (Very good)
- During the labs Lena was very helpful and solved most hickups with Cadence. Kjell was good during exam week where you could meet and ask questions. Also got fast response by email.» (Very good)

- There are too heavy home assignments. And the last ones that come during a time when the other course is already heavy as hell we got the most heavy home assignments. With labs from both courses together with the home assignments we got 16 assignments totally!» (?)

- There must be trade off, if students have passed the labs and assignments than they should pass this course (should be awarded grade 3) but if some one wish to improve grade should attend the exam. Exam shouldn"t be compulsory to pass this course because students spend lot of time and efforts to solve assignments and labs after all of these efforts still we have sword of exam hanging on our neck. »

- I think it shows that you have thought about how to structure the cource. The intregration between the home assigments and the labs are great. Also that you use the same comparator and gradually make it better or "design" it, is a great idea. One of the better cources during my time on Chalmers. KEEP IT IN THE CURRENT FORMAT»
